
The Grand March will be held in the Auditorium on Saturday, May 18, at 5:00 pm. Tickets are $2 at the door unless you have pre-paid with a junior/senior.
Remember - juniors or returning senior court - the last day to purchase prom tickets is Monday!

Chad White, Retired Petty Officer 2nd Class, visited with our fourth graders during our bonus career day this month. Mr. White, who served with the Seabees, shared his reasons for choosing the military, including the opportunity to travel the world and fund a college degree through service. He also emphasized the camaraderie among those he served with, describing them as family. Thank you to Ms. LaVine and Mr. Woodell-Freire for organizing this event!






Don't miss the lip sync battle - April 25!


Mrs. Moulton's first graders put their lessons on natural vs. man-made resources into practice and worked together to create a "Gratitude Tree"! 🌳💚 After collecting sticks, they made a tree and decorated it with paper leaves filled with words of gratitude and kindness. We're proud of our thoughtful first-grade friends.






The upcoming Board of Education meeting on April 23, 2024, will be held at 7:30 am, not at 6:00 pm as noted on the Fort Ann 2023-24 12-month calendar.

Fourth graders had a visit from Michael Sexton, Correction Sergeant at the Great Meadow Correctional Facility, during our seventh career day. Mr. Sexton explained what training is needed to be a corrections officer and what a typical day is like. The students also got to look at some gear up close. Thank you to Ms. LaVine and Mr. Woodell-Freire for organizing this event!

How cool was that eclipse!?! Did you know that you can recycle your eclipse glasses for a good cause? Ms. Huskie is accepting eclipse glasses as part of the effort to help students in Latin America experience the eclipse in October. See the flier below. (Glasses will be accepted until Friday, 4/19) Please bring your glasses to any of the offices to donate!

Seventh and eighth graders will be hosting a Lip-Sync Battle as their final fundraiser for the year! Flyers went home with elementary students this week, and you can sign up using the QR code on the flyer! Families and teachers can participate, too! Dust off your dancing shoes and get ready to compete for the Golden Microphone!


Ms. Carey’s kindergarten class had a “glow”rious day! The students earned a “glow day” by working hard and having good behavior!










Peter Rabbit hopped right out of Mr. McGregor's garden and into our school and left a trail of clues for our Pre-K students to follow!!
