Mrs. Soprano's fifth graders wore blue for Autism Awareness Day! 💙


Our first graders “rocked” the first 120 days of school! They dressed like rockstars, did fun centers, made trail mix with 120 items, counted to 120 in different ways, did exercises for 120 seconds, and did projects with 120 items! 🤩 1️⃣2️⃣0️⃣










👏 Congratulations to Ms. Andrejkovics’s class for winning the golden spatula award for March! The golden spatula is awarded monthly to the class with the best behavior in the cafeteria. Great job!

Our fifth-grade physical education classes had a blast at Cole's Woods in Glens Falls! They explored three lifelong sports: cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and ice skating. Skills they'll enjoy for years to come!

The annual literary arts journal is produced by WSWHE BOCES and features outstanding poems, essays, photographs, paintings, drawings, and graphic designs created by students in grades 7 - 12. A jury of professional artists and writers selects the journal's content. 🤩

📖 Award-winning author/illustrator Anthony Richichi visited our fifth graders to read his book “Colorwold,” a story of a little boy named Henry who discovers a magical treasure of art supplies that brings his drawings to life. Students also completed an art activity based on it.
They then attended "Colorworld LIVE," the stage adaptation of the book at the Charles R. Wood Theater in Glens Falls, where their artwork was on display! 🤩







REMINDER—There will be no school on Wednesday, January 29, in observance of the Asian Lunar New Year.


Chef Matthew Young, CTE Culinary Arts Teacher at WSWHE BOCES, and Raymond Perras, owner of Ray’s Property Maintenance, visited with our fourth graders for our third career exploration day! Chef Young spoke to our students about how to become chefs. He also brought chocolate chip cookies to teach some culinary terms—and, of course, to eat! 🍪 Mr. Perras shared his love of growing plants and flowers and being outdoors.🌸 He gave each student seeds and a pot so they could grow their own pansies! Thank you to Ms. LaVine for organizing this event! 🤩
